TRAKS,
NOT JUST ANOTHER COMPANY
Based
in Ras Al Khaimah Emirate in the United
Arab Emirates, we specialize in offering
a unique and unusual way of discovering
the Arabian Peninsula.
Nestled
between the highest peaks of the Hajjar
range and some of the largest expanses
of sand desert in the world, Ras
Al Khaimah is the dramatic starting
point for your trips. With us you will
be able to enjoy true Arabian hospitality
and discover tracks that date back
to the early Bedouin tribes that roamed
the region.
At TRAKS we believe in giving back to
the people who share our passion and
fuel our success. Our support to local
events and local athletes is just one
way to show our appreciation and say
thank you.
James
Falchetto – Founder and GM
James is driven by passion and fueled
by his desire to share his experience
of the region to visitors with inquisitive
minds. The ultimate Renaissance man,
he has swapped his trading jacket on
the floor of the Montreal Exchange for
dunes, for the vast barren expanses
of the Arabian peninsula, and for a
culture that is ultimately dominated
by a way of life steeped in tradition
and simplicity.
Abdullah Belyoahah - Partner
Born and raised in the UAE, Abdullah
grew to enjoy travel, and upon his
return to the UAE has striven to share
his culture and country with as many
visitors as possible. Nowadays when
he is not busy in the office you will
find him on the TRAKS trails explaining
to visiting guests what the still
recent nomadic past used to be like.
Abdullah is the number one source
when it comes to understanding where
the UAE comes from in terms of culture
and history, which are necessary elements
to understanding the Arabian peninsula.
Sorour
Al Qamzi – Guide
A native of the UAE, Sorour has been
involved with motorsport and the desert
since he could crawl into and out
of a car. Involved with the largest
motoring event regionally –
the Desert Challenge – he brings
a wealth of knowledge to the whole
experience of desert travel.
Sorour is thoroughly familiar with
the terrain and the vehicles, and
his warm smile and friendly attitude
are always a welcome sight, whether
at the campsite bivouac or over sandwiches
during lunch breaks. As most people
don’t like to leave home without
some essential item, we prefer not
to leave home without Sorour!
