Rigging

•  SMC Mini Rigging Plate - AED 110 - The strongest, lightest and most versatile mini-rigging plate on the market! Manufactured on CNC machines using high quality aluminum for strength, durability and corrosion resistance to provide years of reliable service. The SMC Mini-Rigging Plate is designed for use as the collection point for multiple anchors and/or rigging points. The two main holes can also be used as a belay device. Weighs 80g and takes on 36kN load.

• SMC NFPA rigging plate - AED 210 - SMC's Rigging Plate is half the size of the bigger plates on the market yet it is just as strong. Features a single, large circular center hole that accepts numerous connections simultaneously plus five oversized, ovalized holes that are each designed to handle up to 2 large rescue. Holes are individually numbered to make it quick and easy to organize connections. All edges on the SMC Rigging Plate have been contoured so that they are easy on rope, webbing, carabiners and other connectors. CNC machined from 1/2'' thick aircraft quality aluminum and then anodized for quick identification and additional resistance to corrosion. Weighs 323g and takes on 52kN load.

• Petzl PAW S/M/L - AED 110, 215, 340 - Aluminum plates allows easy organization of the work area and creates multiple anchor systems. 3 different sizes but all have 19mm holes allows most carabiners to pass through. All are Ce and NFPA "G" certified at 36kN - weights are 55g, 210g and 350g.

Swivels

• SMC Swivel - AED 315 - The SMC Rescue Swivel is built around a heat-treated steel axle and a sealed high efficiency ball-bearing to ensure flawless rotation during even prolonged and difficult raises in severe rock, mountain and rescue conditions. The holes are sized to work with rescue carabiners, and allow carabiner lock sleeves to pass through without hanging up. As one of the most compact swivels on the market, it is ideal for confined space rescue and other awkward hauling situations. Weighs 132g and breaking load is 44kN - NFPA "G" rating at 36kN.

• Petzl Swivel S/L - AED 260 & 305 - Prevents the rope from twisting and turning when the load is turning. Mounted on sealed ball bearings - available in two sizes. Weighs Swivel S- 95g and Swivel L-150g, breaking load is 23kN and 36kN

Hangers and Descending rings

• SMC Descending ring - AED 11 - SMC Descending Rings are a one-piece aluminum ring which are intended to be placed at the top of a pull down rappel in place of a carabiner in order to facilitate recovery of ropes. Low cost means you don’t have to think twice if the situation requires leaving the D-Ring behind. Weigh 10g and breaking strength is 14kN.

• Petzl Stainless Steel hangers - AED 20 - Solid stainless steel construction, 12mm diameter hole, breaking strength 25kN.

Rope protection

• Petzl Caterpillar - AED 850 - Aluminum modules are connected together with quicklinks. Each set adapts to the terrain underneath and helps prevent rope abrasion. Weight 1065g.

• Beal Protector - AED 50 - A rope may wear extremely rapidly over an abrasive edge. To protect it, use the Protector, an ultra tough rope protector made with two layers of coated material. - Length: 70 cm - Weight: 150 g
